I have established the following policies to ensure a safe and positive grooming experience:

Establishing a maintenance schedule is highly recommended. I only accept clients who are on an eight week or less grooming schedule unless otherwise agreed upon. As a mobile stylist, I can not accommodate as many clients as a traditional salon. Pre-booking multiple appointments is encouraged and ensures you get the appointments your pet needs.

As a mobile service, my schedule is subject to delays due to traffic, driving distances or running long with previous appointments. Please keep in mind that your appointment time is an estimated arrival time. I will always communicate whether I am running early or late with ETA texts.

I accept Credit Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. A credit card on file is required to book all appointments. 

I will send appointment reminders in advance, however it is the pet owners responsibility to notify me at least 24 hour prior for cancellations. If the client is not home/available at the scheduled appointment time this considered to be a no-show. Not meeting the cancellation window will result in a charge to the card on file for the FULL grooming price due to the loss of revenue. Prepayments will not be refunded unless cancelled 24 hours prior. Three missed appointments with result in termination of services.

I will always make every attempt to safely accommodate you and your pet. I do however reserve the right to refuse service if they display aggressive or concerning behaviors that could endanger your pet or myself. 

If your dogs coat has not been properly maintained with frequent brushing and combing matting may occur. I will deem whether the coat is salvageable or not. Extra charges will apply for shave downs or de-matting services. Prices are based on duration of services. The need for recurring de-matting service will require a revision of your maintenance schedule to ensure a well maintained coat.

The grooming process can be difficult for elderly or unwell dogs. While I will take every precaution within my capability to ensure your pets’ safety and wellbeing, pre-existing health or skin problems may be uncovered. Hoppe’s Hounds Mobile Grooming, LLC can not be held liable or responsible for any reason.

Hoppes’s Hounds has the right to take photos and/or video of your dogs and to copyright, use and publish them. These photos will be used for advertising purposes and web content.

Frequently Asked Questions

My mobile salon comes with everything I’ll need for your pet with no required effort on your part. The van is equipped with fresh heated water for bathing, as well as having year-round climate controls to keep your pet comfortable no matter the season. My state of the art van is also powered by solar charged batteries meaning no loud generator running in your driveway!

I’m coming to you! Unlike at traditional salons which can service 12 to 25 dogs a day, your dog will be the only customer I am with for their appointment time. Long hours spent at the groomer can be very stressful for you and your pet. They potentially spend hours in crates unattended. The risk of catching fleas or kennel cough is higher. Car anxiety can amplify a negative experience as well. Rest assured that their time spent at loud and overstimulating salons is over!

 I schedule in arrival time windows meaning, your 10:00 am appointment is in a 9:45 am to 10:30 am arrival window. This allows me to route my schedule as efficiently as possible. I will send multiple text reminders about your appointment and send an ETA when I’m on my way!

Depending on breed and frequency of grooming, a haircut can take one to two hours.

24 hours notice before your appointment is required or charges will apply.

Cat grooming is not available at this time.
